We really enjoyed your recent concert at Veteran's Memorial Park in N. Falls and plan on attending when you're there on 7/19...the only thing that was missing was....the dance floor! We would have loved to dance, but did not feel comfortable doing so on the grass...do you think it will be there on 7/19 for those of us who feel compelled to get up and dance? Thanks...and by the way...your extended set was terrific...GREAT choice of music!!

What a great show on Wednesday night (Town of Niagara). I brought my best friend with me and she could not get over how much you sounded like the Beatles. My kiddies think you guys are the "Beatles"! We sang Beatles songs the whole way back into Lockport!! "We love you...yeah...yeah...yeah!!" See you soon!!

Guys - You were beyond great last night! Gary's solo on Carry that Weight/The End was "spot on!" Frank was awesome on that as well - and WOW- he was note for note on While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Ned on Keys blew us away - while John and Russ were their usual "John and Paul" great!
We really appreciate all you put into the show - and the way you respectfully perform the song in it's original form. Thanks.
By the way - the Grass Roots Medley is an awesome addition - and was GREAT!!!!
Keep on keeping on!

Great concert as usual. You really need to get out there and play more often. Brought several friends with me tonight and they had never been to one of your concerts and they are looking forward to more. Glad that Frank did My Guitar Gently Weeps. It is my favorite Beatles song of all time and for me it really isn't a BBC Concert with out it. It was a nice spot when you did some Kinks. It really would have thrown a lot of people if you had done We are the Village Green Preservation Society. I would guess that not many had heard that one before. Hope you play locally again soon. Keep up the great music.

Thanks for a great night

Saw you guys for the 4th time in Veterans Park in the Town of Niagara ( Niagara Falls) tonight, Loved the show, dragged my sister out to see you, it was the first time that she saw you guys perform. She loved it and said that she also liked the fact that you did covers of other bands songs also. Thank you guys for a very fun and entertaining night out!

Attended the concert on Saturday, May 29th in Hamburg, NY. First time hearing your group and I must say it was quite a nostalgic and relaxing evening. Hearing all the tunes I grew up with cetainly was special. It is uncanny how much you sound like the original Beatles. I closed my eyes a couple times and was certain I was at a live Beatles concert. The music was excact, precise and perfect. It was an evening well spent. Looking forward to seeing another one of your concerts soon. Oh, and by the way, I was also pleasantly surprised when you mentioned the Klubek family. They were my neighbors back in the 60's and 70's and what great people they are! Truly enjoyed every single song. So glad there is still good music kept alive by such fine musicians as yourselves. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable evening!

My husband and I were reading the comments and agree totally with your performance on Saturday night. You have the magic touch that grabs hold of your heart and emotions. We live NE of Watertown and I thought that we would have been the ones to drive in from the furthest distance until I saw that the Wedell's came in from Cleveland. Note: We found out about you on Youtube and decided to make the drive. My husband is also a theater buff and he wanted to see the Riviera. Thanks!

WOW! On the advice of my brother and sister-in-law, we accompanied them to the Riv. in N. Ton yesterday evening and were completely blown away by your superb talent and energy! We have already checked future sites for the summer and will be at several upcoming events! What a gift you gave all of us! PS -it was touching having you pay tribute to your parents' 59-year marriage. They must be so proud of you, Russ!

Sat, April 10, my family and I buried my elderly mother after a brief illness. So Saturday was a terrible day. Coming to your performance was exactly what I needed to pull me out of my sadness. Your songs brought back great memories for me and helped me put my sadness in the proper perspective.

Thanks for the great evening. I will definitely be coming back next year. You were great!

Jim

April 11, 2010

I was at the concert at the Riv last with my wife. She kept telling me close your eyes, you wouldn't know their not the Beatles. You guys are awesome. Just one request from a Kinkophile, please play some Kinks next year.

Riviera concert: Fantastic! Great musicianship, vocals & harmonies. ( I sing, therefore I know!) 60's songs authentically performed with your own flair. "Clean cut", yet far from boring!Excellent mix of songs.
I loved it! (and so did my 84 year old mom)
Wonderful to see my old friend Frank Grizanti @ his best.

Judy

April 11, 2010

Concert @ the Riviera: Fantastic!!! Nice blend of songs, "authentically" performed with your own flair. Incredible musicianship, great vocals and harmonies,(I know, I am a singer, too). Clean cut, yet far from boring!!
Great to see my old friend Frank Grizanti, again!
The 60's is when singers could sing and musicians could really play, write wonderful lyrics,--none of that synthesized stuff from today that's more dancing than substance!

April 11, 2010

I had the privilege of attending The BBC Band concert last night, 4/10, at the Riveria Theatre in North Tonawanda - WHAT A GREAT SHOW! The BBC Band plays great music of my generation, present themselves very professionally, and display a most wonderful intra-band camaraderie, which is infectious, permeating concert goers. I look forward to attending more BBC concerts again -good health allowing.

It was also really nice to see John Connelly again, a Kenmore West graduate, having been a teacher at KW when John attended. (I did see him some years ago when he was with Switch.) He was a great, clean-cut kid at that time, and certaily remains so. Indeed, and this is only from my audience observation, each BBC member appears to be cut from the same fine cloth. When one talks of good, positive role models for today's kids, this band could be exhibit A on anyone's short list. Again, great job fellas.

Hey guys - - you're fantastic. My friend Larry White, who is a former station manager and DJ from Rochester, NY, passed your sound to me. We both live in an adult community in Fort Mill, SC, and share our love for the 60's, Beatles, et al. I played in a rock group back in 1969 on the road when I got out of the service, so I really appreciate what you guys are doing. Do you have any CD's you sell? All the best and keep on rockin' - - I'm sure you're bringing a lot of memories and fun to our generation.

Larry White

October 26, 2009

A friend sent me the youtube video links. Wow! You guys are great. As a disc jockey in the 60s in Rochester, I played most of the music on your song list on the radio and I still love the music.

I immediately sent a note to about 60 friends all over the country...north to south, east to west.

Keep up the great work!

October 18, 2009

Just saw you last night in Westhampton Beach, NY. I actually live in Westchester County. Great show. I especially enjoyed the two Kinks songs near the end of the program. It has been some time since I heard some Hollies songs! Besides the Beatles, "Turn, Turn, Turn" by the Byrds was my favorite number. You mad being 63 years old a priviledge.

I finally had the chance to sit and watch the videos you posted. My 15-yr-old daughter and I were lucky enough to have been at that show. Amazing!!! We recently saw another Beatles tribute band at the Riviera (touring nationally), and they could not hold HALF a candle to your performance. We are huge fans and look forward to the opportunity to hear you again. It's abundantly clear that you love what you do! Thanks so much for the FANTASTIC music that helps us relive the joy and magic of the British invasion. xxoo

Frank you make me proud. I'm so happy for you and the rest of the group. Do you think you'd ever come to the DC area? You would certainly rock this town.

Another great show at Angola. Lucy and I loved it. It was definitely worth the drive from Grand Island. I've got to agree with Mary (down below)in requesting Norwegian Wood. Any chance guys? Looked like the band was was cuttin up and having a blast. I'm glad Russ decided to leave his comfortable seat in the audience and go on with the show!LOL. You gotta watch those Dupont guys! If you keep putting Gary right up front like that you'll be overun with groupies before you know it. See you at the next gig, guys!

Julie & Frank Relosky Jr.

September 10, 2009

We have followed John and his brother Steve for many years and we consider them both good friends. This was the 1st time we've seen & heard the band at the Angola Theater. Fantastic performance!!

September 10, 2009

I was at your concert last night selling your shirts. I hope you return to Claddagh next year your music was really great and now that people from this area have heard you the word should spread as to what other people have missed. Best wishes and hope to see you in Angola again soon.

Martha Rose

September 10, 2009

I am one of the officers at Claddagh who had the privilege of seeing you perform at the New Angola Theater last night. I was an avid fan of The Beatles in the 60's and 70's, and just wanted you to know that you are very, very good and very entertaining. Hope to see you again!

Mary K. McGarrity

September 10, 2009

My sisters and I sat in the second row last night at the concert in Angola at the New Angola Theater......Needless to say, we were blown away by your performance. After working all day in stressful jobs, it turned out to be a fun-filled, relaxing evening reminiscent of the "Good Old Days"! It's unfortunate that you are all so busy to have concerts so far apart! We would LOVE to see you again! Okay, so you didn't play Norwegian Wood for me! I FORGIVE YOU! Best of Luck!

My thanks to Bill (5 messages below) for saying it so well. You really nailed the feeling we had. You should be a writer,LOL. Got your email today about Angola. Sounds great but my heart dropped when you said it might be the last for the year. I hope you can get some fall dates guys. We would love it. We were up front all night at the Frog and your energy and great vibe kept us dancing all night. (And they're were some great dancers). Even though I'll be working 12hr days we're still coming to Angola and staying as long as we can. Because we love you guys. Thanks for letting us sing along and truly celebrate the best music ever made.

August 31, 2009

What more can I say...The BBC is getting tighter and tighter and your extended play list is awesome. Gary, I don't think that last Friday's Conga line will be the last that Terry will be responsible for. What a blast, friends and great music. looking forward to many more enjoyable concerts with the BBC.

August 29, 2009

Lets just start with this, last night was the most fun we have had listening to a band in a long time. I was told about this band that plays Beatles songs and sounds really great. As my wife and I sat for dinner the band was doing a sound check and even that sounded great. I noticed the bass player and said to my wife that he looked like a friend of my dad's son. Sure enough it was John C. It was nice to have him stop by the table to say hello and to remember me. Then the music started and it sent me back to the 60s and 70s. The music was fun, the singing was great even though we sang out of tune sometimes. I know it is not possible to return to those years but it fun to close your eyes and remember. Can't wait till next time we can see BBC again..awesome just awesome.

Wayne and MaryEllen Conn

August 29, 2009

It was my Birthday yesterday and my family took me to Frog Hair for dinner. The special surprise was that The BBC was playing there. I have seen you 3 times and everytime it's better than the last. Everytime you guys add some newer songs to your show. I especially liked that you also include other British Invasion bands. Also last night, I heard you do some music from The Byrds highlighting Frank's Rickenbacker 12 String. Thanks Russ for stopping by my table to wish me Happy Birthday. It's great to see you guys keeping their music alive and it's not surprising to see everybody knows the words to their music. GREAT SHOW

Bill Montgomery & friends

August 29, 2009

Ok, let me see if I remember last night correctly. I went to FH for a drink with friends. For the first time in my life I heard the BBC. I thought that the band sounded good, very good. After a short while, I noticed that my friends and the large out door crowd was entirely focused on the five guys on stage. The next thing I knew, everyone (and I mean everyone) was sucked into this BBC vortex. We heard Golden Slumbers and people are swaying, singing and yes, crying. I was crying with happiness and so were my friends! We started high fiving and singing along. Hey, wait a minute; this isn't me acting this way in public, is it? What am I doing! During The End, the drummer captures the solo to perfection and I feel every beat, and then the crowd stands in a jaw-dropping spell as the lead guitarist nails the solo. WTF!!! By the second set people were giddy and out of control. Ob la di, Ob la da, life goes on BRA must have been a cue because the crowd watched this strange conga line of BBC groupies streaming through the crowd like something from Woodstock. We all did a double take when we realized a woman had taken her "life goes on BRA" off and was twirling it over her head as the line cheerfully danced across the front of the stage. What was in the drinks? What was in the air? What was in the music we all heard last night? This band took everyone to a musical and magical place. A place I want to visit again and again. A big thanks from me, all of my friends and I'm sure everyone that saw the BBC band last night. Your performance was superb, impeccable and one that my friends and I will never forget! How can someone forget something that touches his or her soul.

Carl Reinecke

August 29, 2009

August 13, 2009

Hi, Guys: I saw you last night at the canal, and like everybody else, went away totally impressed with your musicianship & dedication to the greatest era in pop music! I was particularly impressed & pleasantly surprised at some of your Beatles' song choices, i.e. "She Said,She Said", and "If I needed Someone", but all the songs were expertly done! Also, your choice of three Hollies' tunes blew me away! You nailed the harmonies! I'll see you again for sure! Thanks much, Jeff

My husband and I saw your band last night for the first time we were very impressed with the talent the entire band has. Who Knew ? Before last night we had never even heard of you. At your concert on the canal last night - what a great band, enjoyed it 110% - printed your concert list and gave it to people I work with, with a comment "got to hear this band' great job, hope to see you next year on the canal and I'll bring a gang. Bev

August 13, 2009

Took my 12 yr old son Derrick, who's learning guitar, to see your show last night @ the canal.Like his dad he has a passion for classic rock & i've taken him to several concerts @ the canal this year. Your show last night totally blew us away. Frank's guitar playing on "While my guitar gently weeps" had us both in a trance. Right after the show we met you guys back stage just to say thanks for the great concert. To my supprise everyone in the band shook our hands & even asked my son his name. That made a HUGE impression on him, as he put it, how nice you guys were. Thanks for positive influence you had on him, look forward to seeing more of your concerts
Thanks, John

August 13, 2009

Just awesome last night at Gateway. I'm embarrassed to call what I do playing music :)

The attention to detail and love that goes into your project jumps off the stage. Letter-perfect renditions of every song, but played with soul and passion, not to mention a ton of fun with the audience.

It was so nice to hear a DIFFERENT set list then the stuff our band and all the others play. And to see the crowd dancing and singing along. Truly inspiring. "Turn Turn Turn" and "Golden Slumbers" were especially moving. Thanks for the music.

Mary Jo Lyman

August 13, 2009

OK, so we missed Billy & Elton on Friday. So what do we do instead? We go to Frog Hair to find Buffalo's best kept secret. What a powerhouse of talent! Our keyboard hunger was totally satisfied by hearing Ken K. and Ned W. jamming to KC at the end of the evening. Go Pro!!!!!

Dear John, Russ, Gary, Frank and Ned:

What a fabulous performance you put on Saturday! Wow!

My gang really enjoyed the evening – it was great to hear some of the other 60’s music as well as the Beatles’ songs! With some of the songs, I could remember exactly where I was X years ago, dancing my heart out. I may be dating myself when I say, “they don’t write music like that anymore...”.

Your enthusiasm combined with your musical talent draw the audience in – infectious excitement!

Please keep me on your email list for future concerts as I would like to introduce others to the fun we experienced!

Dan would have loved every minute; a great birthday tribute to a wonderful person!

Warmest regards,

Sally

I'm still on an emotional high after your performance at the Tralf. Are you guys related? Though you don't share a resemblance, you act like brothers on stage. You make people want to be with you in addition to enjoying your music. You guys are killer and Im glad you'll be playing out more this year. Hopefully the upcoming generation of musicians will learn something from you. Thanks for a good time.

Well,One of the finest Beatle tribute/British Invasion shows I have seen to date.
I think besides the Incredible vocals/harmonies in this performance is the fact that vintage instruments are used. The 1970s Hofner Beatle bass/1966 Rickenbacker 360/12,J-160e and Vox amplifiers really recreate the sounds of the 1960s that made these songs what they were back then.
A standing Ovation is in order for JC,RT,GA,FG and Ned for their performance.
Best of Health to all so that the BBC can entertain us for years to come !!!

I'm a long time Beatles fan/Switch fan/BBC fan. I also had the opportunity to see Rain at Shea's. Even though it was a good show, with lots of visual entertainment, I was disappointed with the vocals and harmonies. Hearing the BBC at the Riviera the following week proved to me that this band has it all! Music, vocals, fantastic harmony, stage presence, showmanship - IT'S ALL THERE AND IT'S ALL GOOD!!! The band itself has also improved since they first started out. The songs from the other British bands only add to the show and are done perfectly. I rarely miss a show and I'm never disappointed. Keep up the great music. I'M LOVING IT!!!

It's days later and my group is still talking about you guys. What a tight and professional group. Though I love the Riviera, you should be booking Shea's Buffalo. We saw Rain the week before and they sold out 3 shows in two days. If they can do that, you could sell out a week. I'm beng straight here; they're good but you're great! To anyone reading this: YOU'VE GOT TO SEE AND HEAR THE BBC TO GET THE EXPERIENCE!
