Just awesome last night at Gateway. I'm embarrassed to call what I do playing music :)
The attention to detail and love that goes into your project jumps off the stage. Letter-perfect renditions of every song, but played with soul and passion, not to mention a ton of fun with the audience.
It was so nice to hear a DIFFERENT set list then the stuff our band and all the others play. And to see the crowd dancing and singing along. Truly inspiring. "Turn Turn Turn" and "Golden Slumbers" were especially moving. Thanks for the music.

Dear John, Russ, Gary, Frank and Ned:
What a fabulous performance you put on Saturday! Wow!
My gang really enjoyed the evening – it was great to hear some of the other 60’s music as well as the Beatles’ songs! With some of the songs, I could remember exactly where I was X years ago, dancing my heart out. I may be dating myself when I say, “they don’t write music like that anymore...â€.
Your enthusiasm combined with your musical talent draw the audience in – infectious excitement!
Please keep me on your email list for future concerts as I would like to introduce others to the fun we experienced!
Dan would have loved every minute; a great birthday tribute to a wonderful person!
Warmest regards,

I'm still on an emotional high after your performance at the Tralf. Are you guys related? Though you don't share a resemblance, you act like brothers on stage. You make people want to be with you in addition to enjoying your music. You guys are killer and Im glad you'll be playing out more this year. Hopefully the upcoming generation of musicians will learn something from you. Thanks for a good time.

Well,One of the finest Beatle tribute/British Invasion shows I have seen to date.
I think besides the Incredible vocals/harmonies in this performance is the fact that vintage instruments are used. The 1970s Hofner Beatle bass/1966 Rickenbacker 360/12,J-160e and Vox amplifiers really recreate the sounds of the 1960s that made these songs what they were back then.
A standing Ovation is in order for JC,RT,GA,FG and Ned for their performance.
Best of Health to all so that the BBC can entertain us for years to come !!!

I'm a long time Beatles fan/Switch fan/BBC fan. I also had the opportunity to see Rain at Shea's. Even though it was a good show, with lots of visual entertainment, I was disappointed with the vocals and harmonies. Hearing the BBC at the Riviera the following week proved to me that this band has it all! Music, vocals, fantastic harmony, stage presence, showmanship - IT'S ALL THERE AND IT'S ALL GOOD!!! The band itself has also improved since they first started out. The songs from the other British bands only add to the show and are done perfectly. I rarely miss a show and I'm never disappointed. Keep up the great music. I'M LOVING IT!!!

It's days later and my group is still talking about you guys. What a tight and professional group. Though I love the Riviera, you should be booking Shea's Buffalo. We saw Rain the week before and they sold out 3 shows in two days. If they can do that, you could sell out a week. I'm beng straight here; they're good but you're great! To anyone reading this: YOU'VE GOT TO SEE AND HEAR THE BBC TO GET THE EXPERIENCE!

The concert at the Riveria Theater in North Tonawanda was absolutely fantastic. I was a first timer and was amazed at the sound and the harmonies, not to mention the awesome guitar playing of George (Frank Grizanti). Will definetly attend many more of your concerts. Thanks for an evening of pure enjoyment.

From teens to retires ... everyone enjoyed your show at the Riv! So nice to see the Riv SOLD OUT! I thought Russell was incredible - so Lennon like in his voice. Love seeing the band members chit chat during songs and always walk away with a smile - you really seem to enjoy playing together! When you played the 2nd side Abbey Road - that was unreal! Really a great night! You could easily have charged $20.00 for this event! I'm sure the Riv was thrilled with the show! I hope they made some $ so they can continue to improve the building. The Riv and the Palace in Lockport hold warm memories for many people ... thank you for the incredible performance on Saturday!

Hi Guys,
We saw your show this past Saturday & we were really taken back by the second set - you have scored a hat trick! The British invasion songs you sang were OUT STANDING!!
We are good friends with John & have followed Switched for many, many years but I was very entertained by Saturday's
performance. The first set with the Beatles was as always right on But the second was even better. It seems the more you guys play together but the stronger your vocals & harmony become.
Listening to others around us we heard nothing but great feedback. It seems you may have picked up more BBC followers that night.
Thanks for a super night of real music - your unofficial P.R.guy
Ray
PS We have missed only 2 of your past performances.

Hi BBC bandmates,
I had been a Switch fan since the days that they played high schools. (Cardinal O'Hara, late 70's). I celebrated many a birthday with the boys (my 18th at the 3 Coins)and last saw them at Artpark a couple of years ago for, I think, my 43rd. (with my kids that time.) I googled the group and saw that they were no longer together. I brought a gang the other night to see you at the Riviera show and was blown away! You guys are fantastic! Can't wait to see you again--perhaps at the Tralf in April. I love the fact that you played so many songs that were off the beaten track -- Both Beatles and the other 60s numbers. It was a real pleasure.
Your incredibly tight sound and fun stage presence made the night outstanding!
Thanks for playing "You're gonna lose that girl" John, that was my steady request in years past.
Again, thanks for a wonderful night!
Please add me to your email list!

We attended your concert at the Riviera last weekend (2/28/09) which was outstanding. I had not seen the band perform previously and was surprised to see a familiar face at center stage (from years ago with Switch). I wanted to say Hi to John Connelly. Not sure if he remembers the name Courtney or not. My Dad, Ed Courtney was John's little league baseball coach at St. Andrew's years ago. And John's dad literally bailed me out of many many plumbing issues at the various houses I've owned in the Town and Village. Wanted to say hi and wish you guys well. Your show is awesome!!!

I saw your concert at the Riviera Theater last night. I enjoyed it immensely(even better than Rain, which I saw last week). This is from a guy who loves the Beatles so much that I have three daughters and a dog named after Beatles song characters(Julia,Michelle,Anna and Molly) and who also dables in guitars (playing and building) and songwriting-I know that compliments always mean more from people who know something about music. My wife and I will definitely be looking for another opportunity to see you soon. Seeing you play (especially the old Beatles stuff) helped me understand why the Beatles becames so popular in the first place.

It was a wonderful experience listening to the Band playing and singing in such fantastic Harmony. John Connelly, I've always loved your playing since I first heard "Switch" in 1979, Jr Prom So Park High School. Then followed the sounds when you came to Orchard Park( can't remember the Nightclub) on Buffalo St. Great times, and so was the energy last night. Well needed and appreciated, Thanks for the memories.

See below. We never did this before and forgot to enter our names. Sorry if we screwed things up.
February 25, 2009
We just read the previous comments posted here and my wife and I would have to agree about the quality of The BBC both musically and vocally. Kerri and I grew with the Beatles and feel that we are connoisseurs. There are tribute bands that have quality actors portraying John, Paul, George & Ringo on stage and some do it very well (i.e. 1964 The Tribute and Rain among others that are to numerous to mention.) It is nice to see the vintage Beatle guitars, amps and drums that add to the visual and maybe they are needed to produce that 60’s sound. The early TV commercials and the like help create the illusion of taking you back in time, but when you focus on the music and vocals, THAT IS the key. The "close your eyes and listen" test is what we like to do. We’ve seen all of the top Beatle tribute band, like those mentioned above and the Fab Faux when we were in LA. We have been out to see The BBC twice now and you are the best kept secret in Beatledom. Your musicianship is stellar and the vocals… Your John Lennon guy sure has that Lennon voice. It’s really, really scary! He could scare the pants off Yoko! The closest we have ever heard. And your Paul (I think that is John?) might not have the Macca tonal quality but his range, word phrasing and vocal texture make a perfect match with Russ/Lennon (?). Anyway, we’ve been there and done that when it comes to hearing Beatles trib bands and you guys are at the top of your game. You should be touring, you’d make a fortune. Go give the other big acts a run for their money. Kerri said that I forgot to mention your lead guitar player. What a talent and what stage presence. For us old time Beatle fans, you can make us so emotionally unstable. We could listen to you all weekend. Any plans for a CD? We will be there on Saturday and to as many of your other shows as we can. Getting older you know. Thanks for doing what you do and doing it so well. Peace, Jim & Kerri

My husband & I can't wait to hear your British invasion songs! Saw "Rain" last nite at Shea's & I must say I enjoy your band alot better. They were great but you guys have the harmonies down pat! See you at the Tralf in April!

He told me how he had the opportunity to play with you and was so impressed that he sent me a few mp3's that I believe Russ sent him that are just outstanding. Any plans to put out your CD to sell at your shows and web site? And how about making a trip out closer my way (Warsaw)LOL. Keep up the great work and I hope you record that CD soon. I've seen Beatlemagic many times, and I think they are great! I'm thrilled to see that Russ is in this band because he does an incredible job singin' Lennon. I love the mp3 of 'this boy'. That is my all time favorite Beatles tune. So simple - but awesome harmony by the Beatles and The BBC Band!

We were at your concert last night and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We were teen-agers in the 60's and feel that music of that era is still the best and your band captures that era perfectly. We look forward to seeing you at NCCC in February. Thank You so much!!

I saw the band a couple of years ago in Lockport at the Palace Theater. I thought you were very good. Last summer I attended your performance in the Town of Niagara. I did happen to notice there was member change. What a great addition Frank Grizanti is to the band. While the previous guitarist was very good, Frank adds a whole other dimension with his vocals along his great guitar playing. Last night I saw your performance at the Palce which was outstanding. I think with a little more advanced advertising you can fill the Palace. While I will always enjoy the Beatle songs I equally enjoyed your covers of The Who and The Hollies. What a great way to keep the music of the 60's alive.

John, Gary, Frank, Ned & Russ: What can I say but you guys are awesome.....I am so incredibly proud to have been able to have you guys help me out and do the benefit concert for ST. Mary's School for the Deaf. I am still reeling(a week later) with all the calls and emails regarding the show and how much everyone enjoyed it. I want you to know I reached my goal and actually surpassed the amount I raised for the school and everyone is so appreciative at the school for all that the band did to make it a success. The enterpreters had the time of their lives and had never experienced such a great performance and enjoyed every minute of it. If you ever need enterpreters, look them up....They got a standing ovation at the school dinner for the job they did....Thank you so much for making my dream a reality and it was all because of you guys, your great!!! Your vocal harmonies and musicianship are impecable and spot on! Doing the Golden Slumbers medley at the end of your show brought the house down.
